School Board Election 2025
Petition circulation begins on August 20, 2024, for school board candidates for the April 1, 2025 election. The filing period for candidates with the Hardin County Clerk’s office opens on November 12th and closes on November 18th, 2024.

Five seats on the seven-member Board of Education for Hardin County Community Unit School District #1 will be filled at the April 1, 2025 election: Four vacancies are for 4-year terms (full terms) which will expire in 2029 AND one vacancy for a 2-year term that expire in 2027.
