Tanner, Dana

Hello My Name Is...

Dana Tanner

Hello,
I am the K-2 Communication Disorders Teacher. As a dedicated educator, I have always been passionate about helping children overcome communication challenges. I am not only a teacher, but also a mother and Mimi from Saline County, with strong familial roots in Hardin County.

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education, with a focus on Mild-Moderate disabilities. This has provided me with a solid foundation in understanding and addressing the unique needs of students with communication disorders. However, I am committed to professional growth and continuing education to enhance my knowledge and skills in order to better serve this school and the community.

Working with young learners has always been a fulfilling experience for me. I strongly believe in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students can thrive and reach their full potential. My years of experience in the field of special education have taught me the importance of individualized instruction and collaboration with parents and other professionals to ensure that each child receives the highest level of support.

In my role as a K-2 Communication Disorders Teacher, I am dedicated to empowering my students to effectively communicate and participate in their academic and social lives. I am excited to be a part of this school community and to contribute to the growth and success of each student.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. I look forward to working together to make a positive impact on the lives of our students.
